DNL Case – Reasons for Judgment
At the conclusion of a hard-fought case the BC Supreme Court found in favour of the city who sought to prohibit two hookah lounge owners from allowing their customers to smoke herbal shisha in traditional hookahs. The case challenged the validity of the City of Vancouver bylaw on multiple fronts.
